Sarah + Michael engagement
San Francisco, California
Sarah and Michael are getting married later this year near Lake Tahoe, so we jumped around the city last Sunday for a few hours. I'm heading back out to their house in a few minutes to get some additional shots with their daughter, so I'll try to add to these in a few days. I'm off to Tahoe tomorrow for a wedding, then back to San Francisco for another engagement session on Sunday. I can see lots of coffee in my near future.

Elizabeth + Ethan engagement

Yesterday I went out to Baker Beach for an engagement session with Elizabeth and Ethan. They are getting married next year in Bermuda, which is a trip I'm really looking forward to. We had some nice overcast skies yesterday and Elizabeth was a good sport about the cold wind while wearing a dress. Here are a few of the frames.

Leena + Spencer
Napa, California
Saturday brought me and my buddy Dave Getzschman to one of my favorite places - the wine country. Leena and Spencer married at the Montington Vineyards in Napa with an abundance of amazing food, dancing and vino. At the end of the night Leena and I were standing in the doorway of the barn where the reception was held wondering how the day went by so fast. "It felt like an hour," she said. Kendra + Chris
Glorieta, New MexicoI had never met Kendra and Chris before their wedding day, but after just a few minutes of watching them together made it obvious they are very much in love. They met in high school but never dated. After reconnecting, they both went to school in Boston and have recently moved back home to Albuquerque. Good luck with your new life together! Laura + Lucas engagement

Laura and Lucas have become some of my best friends in Santa Fe over the last few months. They are getting married in about two weeks, and I'm really looking forward to what they have planned. Hopefully Lucas will be ready, because he's been working non-stop on his first book, Obsessive Branding Disorder, which comes out soon. He didn't even sleep the night before the engagement session. MJ + Mike
Huntington Beach, California

There are at least three things MJ and Mike really love to do in front of a camera: laugh, jump off things and flash gang signs. What more could I ask for? With the help of my friend Eric, we witnessed one of the happiest weddings I've ever seen. There is no doubt I'm going to know these two for a very long time. Here's the slideshow:

This month's edition of the WPJA online magazine Wedpix.com has an article talking about engagement photographs, which they interviewed me for a few days ago. You can read the article here. Once again, Kim and Neil's wedding is rocking it for me.

They laughed. They danced. They drank. They cried. They stayed up really late. MJ and Mike had a perfect wedding day. We're about to head back out this afternoon for a few more day-after photos, but here are a few frames for now.

I'm in Los Angeles now for this weekend's wedding with MJ and Mike. Last night was the rehearsal, and we had a great time at one of their favorite Italian restaurants Luggatti's in Huntington Beach. More photos to come after the weekend.
